Matrix Air-Cell Memory Foam Camping Mattress

Bought it for inside use at a cabin where I will be living for a 4-6 months. The only sleeping arrangement there is an antique daybed (much narrower than a twin bed). When I asked the owner if I could dismantle the bed and use my own twin…he said “why can’t you just use a mattress pad?”. After the shock wore off, I began looking for pads but found nothing of the quality I wanted. When I checked your website I saw that your camping mattress was available in the perfect size to accommodate my needs. The mattress is ideal to top the antique and is superior in quality to every other option. The waterproof cover is magic as well. Thank you for your help! Dilemma solved.

I bought this to put in the back of 08 Subaru Outback for car camping. It's perfect! It's cushy, comfy, cozy, and hits the peak on everything I was looking for in a car camp set up. It was also pretty affordable with the extra percentage off at checkout. I'm completely impressed with this pad. You can't see the actual pad in my photo but it's there, I promise! It made me feel like I was sleeping at home which for camping...and in a car is unheard of.I love this pad!! It even rolls up and stores away in it own bag which is big enough you could probably store some sheets and extra blankets in.Thank you for a wonderful product. I can't wait to use it again this summer!

I needed something wider to sleep on while camping. I’d purchased a camping cot, but didn’t pay attention to the width. This camp mattress, while not as comfy as my mattress at home, is WAY better than the cot or the roll-up backpacking sleeping pad I purchased previously. I’m 6’0, 280 pounds and it worked really well for me. No back stiffness when I get up in the morning. Does just what I need it to do.

I used this on a 34 day hospital stay for the couch bed it was amazing!! I still use it on a hard bed as well. Helps prevent back from hurting.

This pad has a lot to offer for the price; I’ve already used it for when my 4-yr. old grandchild spent the night - he liked it, and it’s so easy to take from room to room. One of my main draws to this pad was the size, it is wider than some others offered, and I needed every inch of length, as well, for when my 6 ft. 5 in. son takes it to use in his camper. The pad was advertised at 75 in. along, but it is actually at most 73 in. - we measured several times for accuracy. So that was a disappointment and should be corrected in the advertisement description. Overall, a good value.

This was a surprising one for me. I bought this to have a 2nd place to sleep. My husband has RLS and allergies so when i acts up it's really difficult to share a sleeping space. I bought this bad boy so I can plop iit on the floor next to the bed to sleep. I sleep so good on it! I don't feel the floor through the bottom and it has nice solid support for being as small as it is. One of the best purchases I've made in awhile. The only thing I wasn't super excited about was that the waterproofing doesn't cover the bottom. I was thinking of using it for camping this summer but I think I'd want anoter waterproof cover over it before I risk it getting damp from condensation or dew in a tent.

Was looking I could use like a shiki futon, but liked that this could be used for camping. It's not very lightweight, and it's bulkier than I expected. I wanted to put it in a cedar chest in our library so I could use it on nights when I stay up later than my husband so I didn't need to disturb him or if he started snoring. It won't fit in that chest, and now I'm in a bit of a quandary about where to store it. I didn't find it particularly hard to get into its bag, but wouldn't do so unless transporting it. I also agree with the reviewer who thinks about 140 lbs. is about the maximum weight you should count of being comfortable with it. I'm a little over that, and I was bottoming out. I'm not unhappy with the purchase, but will probably opt for air mattresses as we acquire camping equipment.

Was waiting to write this review after my camping trip.The pad is definitely comfortable. I had it paired with a additional mat that was wimpy and thin. 30 degrees Fahrenheit. I was comfortable, Slept just fine. Rubber bottom doesn't slip, offers grip while rolling it up.The storage however needs some work. The straps included don't sinch up properly. The zipper on the included duffel bag blew out on the 1st use. Not a huge deal, I'll use some bungee to secure the roll and utilize a different bag to store it in.Conclusion. Good buy if space isn't a concern. It doesn't store nicely. But, when you are using it for its intended purpose, it's great. I would buy another. Would wish the manufacturer just put a *tad bit more effort into the straps & storage bag.

Light and comfortable

Arrived in a large box, shipped well, wrapped in strong plastic. Once you cut the plastic wrapped the pad will expand, folded in-hald, but once released it expanded and smoothed out in 1-2 days. Large carrier bag and securing staps when storing are good quality. Overall a beast but does the job, very comfortable when on cot, or floor.

liked the value, and convenience; did not like how long foam took to mostly regain its shape and fit. Do not like permanent length-wise shipping crease which is apparently a permanent poor characteristic of this mattress which is stored and shipped folded in half length-wise and rolled up tightly to remove air, to enable smaller packaging

Arrived on time and packaged well. Gave 4 stars because I haven't had a chance to sleep on it yet as it's for a camping trip in May. Appears to be of good quality with a handy carrying bag and after inspecting, think it will work well for my situation-sleeping in the bed of my pickup truck (with a topper shell).

Incredible. I never take the time to review stuff but this is really good. Not cheap, not very light, and it’s not packed down worth much. It’s about the size of an adult in the fetal position. Slept in my truck, on the floor, inside cabin,. Thrilled. I would sleep on this for a week easily, kid from the 80s, a dozen broken bones three surgeries and a lot of miles on the field and on the court. It’s like the purple mattress or dream cloud. It’s not good, and I didn’t sweat. You better have a pretty dang good reason to give this anything lower than a 4 1/2.

Made sleeping on our cots so much better! A little bulky but worth it. Not too firm or too soft.

Love this matrix foam mattress. It’s perfect for camping outdoors even indoors seller was very quick will definitely be using this it’s very soft and the color is very nice .. very easy to fold. It just froze up this mattress. Foam is perfect for adults or kids.

I bought this for my wife for camping and she says it provided her a very comfortable night's sleep.PROSIt is not an inflatable sleeping pad which requires inflation and could spring a leak.It is very thick and comfortable.You can easily use this as a twin sized sleeping pad in your home for guests.Both the outside and inside covers are removable and washable.The bottom on the sleeping pad cover has a grippy non-slip material to prevent the pad from sliding around.It comes with a very large duffel bag to store and transport the pad.CONSThe pad doesn't compress much when putting it away so it takes up a lot of room in your vehicle if you're traveling with this pad.The zippers on the two washable pad covers are extremely small and weak so extra care must be used when removing and replacing the covers after washing.The zipper on the duffel bag is a bit larger than the zippers on the pad covers but still very undersized for a large duffel bag so again care must be used to not ruin the zipper when zipping the stuffed duffel bag closed.

A little narrow bot otherwise a great product.

It's a quality mobile mattress, but you have to pay a pretty penny. They should be charging half what they do (~$75), and a good deal for this mattress would be $50. I would say make sure you buy some Twin sheets for it if you're going to use it for any considerable amount of time and not just for a camping retreat. Still, it is easy to fold up and they provide a sufficiently sized duffle bag for it to fit it. Don't be surprised by the size of the box when you get it. It's folded in half.

I'm definitely happy with this mattress. We will use this for camping, sleep overs, and even to bring to hotels so that my son and daughter don't have to sleep together in the hotel bed.First off, it is very comfortable, which is what I care about most. This will not give me a backache like the air mattress I usually use. I like that it has a washable sheet cover that is soft on one side and grippy on the other side so it won't move around. It rolls up nicely and is easy to carry with the strap. It also has a carry bag that is pretty nice, although I'm not sure we will even need to use that because it folds up so nicely and the strap seems to make it very easy to carry. My husband has slept on it several times already and loves it!
